Pickled Red Onion

Ingredients
  

  • 1 red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 cup warm water not boiling
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbs granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Place red onion slices in a storage contain that has a lid
  • In a measuring cup, combine vinegar and warm water
  • Mix in sugar and salt until fully dissolved
  • Pour pickling solution in container with onion
  • Set for minimum of 1 hour before using
  • Cover and refrigerate for up to 3 weeks
