Pickled Red Onion
Ingredients
- 1 red onion thinly sliced
- 1 cup warm water not boiling
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbs granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Place red onion slices in a storage contain that has a lid
- In a measuring cup, combine vinegar and warm water
- Mix in sugar and salt until fully dissolved
- Pour pickling solution in container with onion
- Set for minimum of 1 hour before using
- Cover and refrigerate for up to 3 weeks
