♥️ Izzie's French Toast

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Each Brioche Slices (or any sliced bread)
  • 3 Each Whole egg
  • ¼ Cup Light cream (whole milk, or half & half)
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbs Ground cinnamon
  • 2 Tbs Butter (or Butter flavored cooking spray)

Instructions
 

Directions 1

  • Crack eggs into a flat bottomed mixing bowl
  • Add cinnamon and use a fork, whisk, or mixer to blend egg until well mixed
  • Add dairy, vanilla and mix well

Directions 2

  • Preheat a large non-stick pan or skillet on low-med heat
  • Melt butter and spread evenly on bottom of pan, or generously spray the pan
  • Dip slices of bread on each side in mixture until well coated
  • Fry the slices in the pan untili golden brown, approx 3-4 minutes on each side

Notes

  • Best Served with real maple syrup
  • Add 1 egg + 2 tbs dairy for every extra two slices. Add more cinnamon as needed
  • Other spices can include nutmeg, pumpkin spice mix, allspice to adjust the flavor
  • Add soft brie between or on top of slices for extra pizazz
  • Add fresh fruits / fruit spread for another type of pizazz
  • Add walnuts
