Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons ginger powder or freshly grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons green cardamom pods ground
- 1 tsp nutmeg grated
- 1 1/2 tsp cloves ground
- 1 1/2 tsp white pepper ground
- 3 tablespoons cinnamon ground
- 1/4 tsp saffron
Instructions
- Heat a small non-stick pan to medium-low
- Add spices and roasted until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes (be careful not to burn).
- Mix and store in a cool, dry space
For Tea
- Heat up a cup of your favorite black tea; assam is traditionally used
- Put 1-2 tsp (depending on your spice preference) in an empty tea bag and steep the spices with the tea ~5 minutes. Remove the tea bag.
- Add your favorite creamy dairy product and sweetener to taste
